Satire can be sagacious


Just as comedians Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert often make more political sense than the so-called serious pundits, The Onion, a satirical newspaper and Web site, sometimes is politically prescient.

Consider, for example, this piece from more than seven years ago.

That is one of the best things on Bush I have ever read, and amazlingly, before he even took offce.
