Atrios reports that defense forces in the War on Christmas have struck a mighty blow against the enemy.
The folks at Fox News must be very proud.
America's most amazing blog, in that almost no one is even aware of its existence while almost everyone is touched by its subtle influence.

This whole "war on Christmas" is ridiculous. I believe it was last year that Rockford Register Star columnist Chuck Sweeney got all upset because some checkout clerk said "Happy Holidays" and not Merry Christmas. Of course who wouldn't be offended by someone saying such a hateful, malicious thing as "Happy Holidays?" I guess we don't have enough problems and issues in this country, so let's just make one up.
For many decades now, many of the most popular "Christmas" songs have had nothing to do with Christmas ("Sleigh Ride," "Winter Wonderland," etc., and nobody has bitched about it. The problem with the recent complaints about the so-called War on Christmas is two-fold: 1)It gives the pinheads on Fox News something to whine about, and 2) It seeks to deny us secularists our own enjoyment of Christmas. I'm an agnostic, but I've always loved Christmas. If that annoys Bill O'Reilly, he can kiss my ass.
To the owner of this blog, how far youve come?
