This poll, released today by the Associated Press and the Pew Research Center, is almost worthless because of a huge flaw.
It's a two-fold problem that can be summed up in one word beginning with "t."

The problem with this poll is one of TIMING. The survey was conducted over a period of 18 days (way, way too long) and wasn't released until eight days after that. A Des Moines Register poll on the same Democratic race in Iowa was conducted over a period of only four days and was made public just a few days later.
