Most military families oppose Bush's war

Barely one-third of U.S. military families approve of George W. Bush's war in Iraq.

These people must be dirty, commie, hippie scumbags, right? True patriots stand behind our president in a time of war, right? That's what I hear from the folks on Fox News and on talk radio.

This is yet another reason why any Republican presidential candiate who supports the war will have a tough time winning. The lone exception is Ron Paul.

I hope you're not saying Ron Paul has a chance of winning. Heaven forbid. I agree with him on about 20 percent of what he says. The rest is conspiratorial nonsense and naive libertarian ideology. The guy's a nutcase.

Let me clarify. Ron Paul is on the only Republican presidential candidate who opposes the war. I don't think he has any chance of winning, but his comments on the war, U.S. foreign policy and the constitution are better than any of the other candidates, Republican or Democrat.
