Bedtime prayer
Lord, please arrange for CBS to fire Don Imus post haste so that I can watch TV news again without the unpleasant likelihood that I'll be affronted by Al Sharpton. I'm not kidding about this. Amen.

It looks like your prayer was answered exactly as you hoped. But would you have been satisfied if Imus kept his job and Sharpton was struck down by lightning? It would've kept him off TV news.

No, I don't want Sharpton dead. I just want him to get the hell off my TV. That goes for Imus, too.
